Having completed all 12 of my mandated driving lessons (and about 12 extra) I have come to one particular conclusion.

However, these initial charges are minor when compared with the next round of expenses.

If found to be driving alone by  the Gardai one may be fined or, since December 2014, have penalty points put on their Learner Permit.

Intensive driving courses, sometimes called crash driving courses, are the fastest way for learner drivers to take and pass their driving test.

Some lessons aren’t booked properly as well, so we recommend calling to check your schedule before going to the site.

There’s a need for an Approved Driving Instructor or an ADI to accompany the learner.
